No putty has to go behind the grip and no holes have to be drilled. This is a super mount. Two custom screws provided with it replace the mainspring housing pin and the hammer pin. These two, along with the two grip screws, provide a fantastic quad-lock fit. By mounting on the right side it stays clear of all the trick accessories and iron sights are still usable. Matte black only.
