This Alumiweld System lets you repair aluminum and pot metal at home for a fraction of the cost. Even difficult to replace die-cast zinc and pot metal parts, common on vintage cars, can be repaired and saved. Use with a propane torch or the Jeweler's Torch. Rods are approximately 9" long. This unique soldering type process requires no flux and produces a strong repair that can be filed, threaded, polished and plated. Step by step instructions included. Use Jigging Putty (19032) to hold broken parts in position during welding, and to shield surface from heat damage.
